Mary Keith

Memorial services for Mary L. Keith of Hobbs will be held Wednesday, September 8, 2010, 10:00 a.m. at Christian Center, 4024 W. College Lane, Hobbs. Graveside services will be at Memory Gardens at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place.

Mary, age 17, died in Lovington August 29, 2010. She was born May 28, 1993, in Hobbs.

Mary attended Hobbs High School. She was working on her GED and planned to attend cosmetology school. She was a member of Amtgard and the Lea County Sheriff Posse. She enjoyed riding horses and motorcycles.

She is survived by her mother and stepfather, Tammie Van Marter and Jerry NesSmith of Hobbs three brothers, James Kirkendall and wife, Kishke Nelson of Hobbs, Christopher Keith of Hobbs and J.V. NesSmith and wife, April of Oklahoma two sisters, Ashley Easter and husband Logan of Georgia, and Amber Keith of Texas grandfather, Sidney Hardy of Hobbs grandmother, Gilberta Van Marter of Texas numerous nephews, a host of friends and her special buddies.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Janes Keith grandmother, Jeannette Hardy and her best friend, Brandi L. Schmidt.
