Funeral services for Mary Etta Jackson of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 12,2008, at Scharbauer St. Church of Christ with Minister Albert Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Hashy;ven Memoshy;rial Park.

Visitation is 8 a.rn.-6 p.rn. Thursday, December 11, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Fushy;neral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mrs. Jackson was born January 30, 1922, in Bedias, Texas.

Survivors include a daughshy;ter, Mary Young and husband Eddie of Hobbs, New Mexico; a grandshy;son, Edward Young of Midland, Texas; a grandshy;daughter, Ethel Young Taylor and husband Keith of Phoenix, Arizona; a granddaughshy;ter, Mary Young Butcher and husband Bernard of Lovington, New Mexico; a grandson, William Young of Hobbs, New Mexico; granddaughter, Debra Young and husband Freeman of Hobbs, New Mexico; fifteen greatshy;-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Jackson was preceded in death by her father, Harrison Mosley; her mother, Lillie Mosley; a brother, W.D. Mosley; three uncles, Ernest Davidson, Alfred Davidson and Willie Davidson; a greatshy;-grandson, Nkosi Young; and an aunt, Martha Davidson.
