Mary Campbell

November 23, 1923 — June 15, 2010

Private graveside services were held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 16, 2010, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park in Hobbs, New Mexico, for Frances Campbell. Services were under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mrs. Campbell passed away at home in Hobbs, New Mexico, after a lengthy illness. She was a resident of Gaines County, Texas, and Lea County, New Mexico, for 48 years. She married William Bill Campbell on August 10, 1953, in Kermit, Texas.

Survivors include her daughter and son, Donahsue and Mike Allen of Hobbs her stepson Bill Campbell of Rush Springs, Oklahoma six grandchildren, Jason Jackie Allen and John Desiree Allen of Hobbs, Willie Missy Campbell and Bonda John Elder of Odessa, Texas, Tommy Dina Roane of Houston, Texas, Sean Roane of Odessa, Texas 13 greatgrandchildren two sisters, Lillie Gronaas of McVille, North Dakota, and June Leonard of Yuba City, California one brother, Harold Bud Askew of Yuba City, California and very special friends, Eva and Earl Allen of Hobbs.

Mrs. Campbell was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four sisters and two brothers.

A very special thank you to Vicki, Jamie, Loria, Abigail, Shirley, Jennifer, Cory and Steve of Star Care Hospice for the care and support they gave to mom and our family during her illness.
