Mary Barlow

Graveside services for Mary M. Barlow of Hobbs, N.M., will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2007, at Prairie Haven Cemetery with Dr. Gary Dill officiating.

Visitation is noon-5 p.m. today and 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Thursday at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mrs. Barlow, 87, died Nov. 5, 2007, at Good Samshy;aritan Vilshy;lage in Hobshy;bs, N.M. She was born Sept. 6, 1920, in Pinegrove, La. She married Glen Barlow on Sept. 4, 1943, in Hobbs, N.M.

Mary had lived in Hobbs, N.M., since 1942. Mary was an active member of First Presbyterian Church. She loved growing roses, reading and animals. She was devoted to her husband, son and famishy;ly. Mary was a sports fan and especially enjoyed the Hobbs Eagles basketball games.

Survivors include a son, John R. Barlow and wife Joan of Annapolis, Md.; a grandshy;daughter, Marisa Adamson of Omaha, Neb.; a brother and sister-in-law, WR. and Modena Barlow of Hobbs, N.M.; and three nieces, Jan Fletcher and Kristy Mosley of Hobbs, N.M., and Lyn Weeks of Albuquerque, N.M.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Glen; five brothers; and two sisters.
