Marvin Allan Silco, 81, was born June 5, 1936 in Webster, NY to Herbert Silco and Marguerite French. He married Shirley Dailor in 1958 in Upstate, NY.
He loved golfing and watching football. He also, loved baseball. He tried out for the Redsox and Orioles. Instead of pursuing baseball, he married the love of his life. His name is in the Cooperstown Hall of Fame for pitching in baseball. He worked as a meat cutter for several years in NY. He was custodian for Stone Elementary School until he retired. Marvin passed away on June 5, 2017, on his 81st birthday.
He is survived by his two sons Kevin and Clay Silco of Hobbs, two daughters Tracey Silco of Hobbs, and Lisa Trujillo and husband Jeff of Carlsbad, NM; seven grandchildren, Dustyn Wright and wife Allison, Chad Wright and wife Stephanie, Kye Silco, Derrick Maestas, Charlotte Birmingham and husband Kris, Michelle and Cheyanne Silco,; nine great-grandchildren, Mia, Amaya, Trevin, Talyin, Tylie, Hunter, Conner, Chisum and Presley, two brothers; Donnie Silco and Richard Silco of NY and two sisters; Irma Coe and Audrey Nersinger.
