Martha Yaws

alignjustifyFuneral services for Martha Urias Yaws of Farmington, New Mexico, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 16, 2009, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

alignjustifyThere will be a private visitation for the family.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

alignjustifyMrs. Yaws, 44, died May 13, 2009, in Hobbs. She was born August 5, 1964, in Odessa, Texas. She married Charles Yaws on January 27, 2006, in Farmington.

alignjustifyMartha had been office manager of Basin Healthcare in Farmington. She earned her bachelor's degree in business management from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Martha was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to travel. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Martha was fun to be around and always dressed to perfection. She touched everyone who knew her. She was a member of Pinon Hills Community Church in Farmington.

Survivors include her husband, Charles Yaws of Farmington; her parents, Valentine and Mary Urias of Artesia, New Mexico; a son, Nathaniel Urias of Riverton, Wyoming; two daughters, Darlene Torrez of Riverton, Wyoming and Adrienne Pineda of Phoenix, Arizona; a brother, David Urias of Artesia; a sister, Norma Urias of Hobbs; and 11 grandchildren.
