Martha Todd

Funeral services for Martha Todd, 76, of Hobbs, will be 10:00 a.m. March 5, 2012, at Vista Pointe Baptist Church officiated by Pastor Jim Auld. Interment will be at the Denver City, TX, Cemetery 3:00 p.m. CST. Visitation will be Sunday, March 4, 1 5 p.m. and Monday, March 5, 8 8:30 a.m. at Chapel of Hope.

Martha was born July 30, 1935, in Sylvester, TX, to Ed and Lilly Edwards. She died February 29, 2012, in Lubbock, TX. She married J. C. Todd September 8, 1950, in ODonnell, TX. They were married for sixty years. She was a longtime resident of Denver City and worked for Yoakum County Hospital for 35 years. Hobbs became their residence in 2001. She was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church for over fifty years.

Surviving Martha is her husband, J. C. Todd of Hobbs sons, Mike Todd, and wife Linda, of Arlington, TX, and Ron Todd, and wife Lisa, of Hobbs, NM sisters, Lucy Palmer of Hobbs and Jo Ann Goodjion, and husband T. Z., of Roswell, NM brother, Bill Edwards, and wife Sara, of ODonnell, TX 3 grandchildren, four greatgrandchildren and one on the way.

Preceding her in death were her parents, a sister and two brothers.
