Martha Huckabee

January 26, 1938 — February 12, 2011

Memorial services for Martha Rae Huckabee, Nanny, 73, of Hobbs, will be 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 19, 2011, at Taylor Street Church of Christ. Cremation will take place. There will be a meal to follow services for everyone in attendance.

Martha died Saturday, February 12, 2011, at her home in Hobbs. She was born January 26, 1938, in Hobbs to Benny and Martha Robertson. Martha married Jack Huckabee June 9, 1956, in Hobbs, at Taylor Street Church of Christ.

Martha was a lifetime member of Rebeccas and Odd Fellows. She cooked and had Bible study every Thursday evening for New Life Support Group since 1992. She was on the Senior Citizens Advisory Board. Her service to the Lord was the most important work that she did that and her family.

Surviving Martha is her husband, Jack three children, daughter, Burnelle Clary and husband Clifton of Hobbs, son, Keith Huckabee and wife Linda of Big Spring, TX, and daughter, Kellie Norsworthy and husband Bill of Albuquerque, NM 9 grandchildren, 10 greatgrandchildren sister, Caroline Billingsly of Bryan, TX stepfather, Eddie Pilon half brother, Richard Pilon of Austin, TX several half brothers and sisters and her extended family at Taylor Street Church of Christ.
