Marilyn Mitchell

Marilyn Ann Mitchell, formerly of Hobbs, New Mexico, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, in Spencer, Iowa. Cremation has taken place.

Marilyn was born April 24, 1937, in Iowa to John Earll and Luella Marie Vaughn Earll.

She married John W. Gunter in 1967 he preceded her in death in 1998.

She married Frank Pee Wee Mitchell in Hobbs on August 28, 1999. Frank also preceded her in death on September 14, 2005.

Ms. Mitchell was a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ, Hobbs, New Mexico.

She is survived by five sisters Jacque Davis of California, Olive and husband Don Upmeyer of Lapine, Oregon, Viola Williams and Shirley Robinson of Boone, Iowa, Alice and husband Lowell Deaton of Navada, Iowa one brother, John Earll and wife Janis of Ogden, Iowa brothersinlaw, Tim Gunter and wife Sue of Hobbs, Lonnie Gunter and wife Carolyn of Mustang, Oklahoma one sisterinlaw, Bessie and husband Rocky May of Hobbs and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at Prairie Haven Cemetery on Tuesday, February 2, at 3:30 p.m. with Minister Mike Kennedy officiating. Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
