Maria Jesus DeCarrasco was born August 16, 1937 in Barrancos, Chihuahua, Mexico to Carlos and Guadalupe Dominguez. Maria passed away Jan 25, 2014 in Hobbs, New Mexico.
Maria married Jesus Carrasco in Ojinaga, Mexico.
Maria was a wonderful person to all. She was loving and sweet, and loved her family dearly.
Maria always had a sweet smile, even when fighting hard with health issues.
Mother, you were the friend, aunt, grandmother, and most of all, the strong mother, that we all loved. You will be missed. Love, your family.
Mrs. DeCarrasco is survived by her husband Jesus Carrasco, Sr. of Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico stepson Jesus Carrasco, Jr. of Seminole, Texas son and daughter in law, Miguel and Viviana Gomez of Portales, New Mexico daughter Paula Gonzalez of Hobbs son and daughterinlaw Israel and Maria Elena Carrasco of Ojinaga, Chih son and daughterinlaw Jesus Mario and Isidra Carrasco of Ojinaga, Chih daughter Martha Elena Carrasco of Hobbs daughter Guadalupe
Fresquez of Carlsbad, New Mexico son and daughter in law Carlos and Olga Carrasco of Hobbs daughter and soninlaw Abilia and Javier Gonzalez of Hobbs twentythree grandchildren and thirtyeight greatgrandchildren.
Maria was preceded in death by her father and mother, one sister, and three brothers.
Rosary will be held at 6:00 pm, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at Chapel of Hope. Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 am, Thursday, January 30, 2014 at St. Helena Catholic Church, officiated by Fr Juan Carlos Ramirez. Interment will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.
