Maggie Johnson

Maggie Lu Johnson passed away on Jan. 10, 2008, in Hobbs, N.M. Maggie was born to Bertha Bowie and Howard Wagnon in Marshall, Ark. Maggie married Larry Johnson in Hobbs on Oct. 2, 1965.

Maggie is the guiding light of the family and a best friend to many. Maggie spent the best years of her life as the world's best wife, mother and friend. Maggie loved her family and friends more than anything and demonstrated this every day through her unselfishness, laughter and love.

Maggie is survived by her cherished husband, Larry Wade Johnson of Hobbs, N.M.; her son, Chad Wade Johnson and his fiance, Jennifer Marie Tharp of Houston, Texas; a daughter, Kamberli Anne Miller and her husband Brian Nicholas Miller of Temple, Texas; her brother, Wayne Howard Wagnon and his wife Neena Wagnon of Hobbs, N.M.; her granddaughter, Torie Gabrielle Johnson; and her grandsons Drysdale Miller and Kei Johnson.

There will be a private graveshy;side service at Prairie Haven Cemetery at a later date.
