Magdalena Lopez

Magdalena Nena Lopez, 88, of Hobbs, New Mexico passed from this life on Dec 1, 2013 surrounded by her loved ones. Mrs Lopez was born to Ramon and Josefina Hernandez on February 16, 1925, in San Ignacio, Texas.

Magdalena married Eliseo Lopez on March 2, 1948 in Beeville, Bee County, Texas.

Mrs Lopez was devoted to her family. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. She made sure that all children had lunch every day. She was a member of the Eagles Lodge.

Mrs. Lopez is survived by a sister, Isidra Cabanas son Eliseo Lopez son Oscar Lopez Diana daughter Bertha Guerin Mike son Arnoldo Lopez Lilly and son Hector H. Lopez, all of Hobbs.

Magdalena was preceded in death by her parents husband Eliseo son Eloy H. Lopez and siblings Bertha Ortegon, Zaragosa Hernandez, Jesusa Lynn, and Manuel Hernandez.

Visitation will be December 3, 2013 from 2:005:00 p.m. at Chapel of Hope. Rosary will be held at Chapel of Hope, 7:00 p.m., December 3, 2013. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at St. Helenas Catholic Church.
