Lydia Fiedler

A memorial service for Lydia Fiedler of Hobbs, N.M., will be held 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2007, at Grace Lutheran Church, 100 E. Berry. The Rev. Robert Catherwood Jr. will officiate. Cremation has taken place.

Mrs. Fiedler, 94, died Oct. 29, 2007, at Hobbs Health Care Center. She was born Aug. 16, 1913, in Pool, Neb. She married Bud Fiedler on March 6, 1937, in Davenport, Iowa.

Lydia loved her God, Lord Jesus, her church and loved teachshy;ing Sunday School. She was very devoted to her family. She had been a memshy;ber of Grace Lutheran Church since the late 1960s. Survivor include her husband, Bud Fiedler of Hobbs, NM; a son, Jimmy Fiedler and Life Partner Carol of Hobbs, NM; three grandchildren; Shane Fiedler of Lubbock, Texas; Jeff Fiedler of Amarillo, Texas; and and Kimberly Hernandez of Hobbs, NM and 2 greatgrandchildren; Reagan Fiedler of Lubbock, Texas, and Aubre Hernandez of Hobbs.

Mrs. Fiedler was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters.
