Lucille Friday

Services for Lucille Edith Friday, 79, of Littlefield will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday April 2, 2012, at Grace Chapel in Littlefield with Pastor Ford officiating. Interment will follow in Littlefield Memorial Park Cemetery. Arrangements are under the personal care of Hillcrest Funeral Home in Littlefield.

Lucille passed away Friday, March 30, 2012. She was born January 12, 1933 in Lee County, Texas. She moved to Littlefield in 1939 with her parents, Millard and Eunice Brown Johnson and has been a resident here for the past 73 years. She attended Littlefield schools and graduated in 1951. She married Clarence Sonny Friday on May 26, 1951. She worked for GTE Telephone for 32 years, retiring in 1990. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence on May 23, 1985 a son, David on October 16, 2011 and a son, Steven on October 27, 2011.

She is survived by a daughter, Susan May and husband Chester of Hobbs, NM daughterinlaw, Shanna Friday of Littlefield two sisters, Jean Evans of Ennis, TX, and Nell Ingle of Littlefield 5 grandchildren, Kristy Johnson, Shadd Friday, and Scott, Brad and Josh May and seven great grandchildren, Trevor and Alyssa Johnson, Brett and Tyler May, Kristopher and Hannah Friday and Blevin Haines
