Funeral services for Lucille Bonds of Lubbock, Texas, forshy;merly of Hobbs, will be held 10 a.m. Monday; Sept. 24, 2007, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Minister Bobby Wayne Bonds officishy;ating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven.

Mrs. Bonds, 81, died Sept. 20, 2007, in Lubbock, Texas. She was born Nov. 6, 1925, in Natchitoches, LA. She married Lee Roy Bonds in August 1943 in Cypress, LA.

Lucille was a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. She worked for Buster Hanks Jewelry; Kmart and Clarks. She was a loving mother, grandmother, greatshy;grandmother and friend.

Survivors include two sons Lee Roy Bonds Jr. of Brownfield, Texas, and Charles Ray Bonds of Albuquerque, N.M.; two daughters, Glenda Vestal of O'Donnell, Texas, and Carolyn Sue Moran of Wichita Falls, Texas; a brother, Jack Landrum of Waco, Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 17 greatshy;grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Bonds.

Memorial contributions may be made to one's charity of choice.
