Loyd Horn

Funeral services for Loyd Eugene Bud Horn of Hobbs, N.M., will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Pastor Dusty Marshall officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Cemetery.

Visitation is 8 a.m. until service time today at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Mr. Horn, 80, died March 28, 2008, at Lea Regional Medical Center. He was born Nov. 2, 1927, in Hugoton, Kan. He married Lillie May Pritchard on June 8, 1951.

Mr. Horn served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War.

Survivors include his loving wife, Lillie Horn, of the home; two sons, Junior Horn of Seminole, Texas, and Danny Lee Horn of Eagle Pass, Texas; a daughter, Carrie Mae Lawrence of Seminole, Texas; three sisters; Alice Marie of Hobbs, N.M., and Lena Collins and Virginia Paterson, both of Arkansas; two grandsons, Bucky and Donald Lawrence of Seminole, Texas; a grandshy;daughter, Christy Lawrence of Midland, Texas; and his little special angel and great-grandshy;child, Karrington.

Bud was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Donna; a sister; and two brothshy;ers.
