Lovera Milligan

Graveside services for Lovera R. Milligan of Hobbs will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Pastor Shawn Drake will officiate.

Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Milligan, 82, died May 1, 2010, at Hobbs Health Care Center. She was born April 29, 1928, in Cisco, Texas. She married Calvin Milligan on September 11, 1982, in Hobbs.

Lovera had worked at Kays Beauty Shop, Parkway Cleaners and the Diamond Shop. She had a million dollar smile and loved to bowl and dance. She was a believer.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hobbs Health Care Center Alzheimers Unit, 5715 Lovington Highway, Hobbs, New Mexico 88240.

Survivors include her husband Calvin L. Milligan of Hobbs two sons Raymon Earl Hughes of Shiloh, Georgia, and Harold L. Milligan of Bonham, Texas two daughters Elizabeth Ann Mueller of Lubbock, Texas, and Patricia J. Jones of Hobbs sister Lucille E. Barton of Carlsbad brother Myron Rusty Wilson of Santa Fe and seven grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.

Lovera was preceded in death by one brother.
