Louella Ford

Memorial services for Louella Fern Ford, 81 of Hobbs, will be July 14, 2012, noon on Saturday, at New Hope Baptist Church officiated by Pastors Ron Ragland, Mike Adams and Doug DeWeese. Louella died July 11, 2012, in Hobbs. She was born August 18, 1930, in Clayton, NM, to Otis W. and Pearl Carroll. Cremation will take place.

Louella married Arthur Ford December 24, 1946, in Portales, NM. They celebrated 66 years and 7 months together. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. Louella enjoyed cooking, baking cookies and sewing. She loved her family, grandchildren and greatgrandchildren. Tommy said she was an angel without wings and one of Gods finest.

Surviving Louella is her husband, Arthur Tommy Ford of Hobbs sons, Wayne Ford and wife Barbara, of Hobbs and Edward Lee Ford, and wife Mary, of Hobbs a daughter, Barbara L. Williams, and husband Richard, of Hobbs a brother, Charles Carroll of Portales, NM four sisters, Mary Lee of Floyd, NM, Hazel Owen, and husband Bill, of Portales, NM, Josie Taylor of Portales, NM, and Beverly Tapley, and husband, Gary, of High Roll, NM grandchildren, Michael Ford, and wife Isabel, of Hobbs, Marlena Bushway, and husband Don, of Hobbs, Michelle DeWeese, and husband Doug, of Springtown, TX, Lenay Pacheco, and husband Mike, of Boyd, TX, Damon Ford, and wife Maria, of Springtown, TX, Camille Lilly and Susan Rosales of Brownsville, TX, and Heath Williams, and wife Francine, of Hobbs.

Preceding her in death were her parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to New Hope Baptist Church, 100 W. Comanche Dr., Hobbs, NM 88240.
