Funeral services for Linda Watson of Lovington, New Mexico, formerly of Hobbs, New Mexico, will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008, at Prairie Havshy;en Memorshy;ial Park Chashy;pel with Passhy;tor Alan Speshy;ed officiatshy;ing. Burial will follow at Prairie Hashy;ven Cemeshy;tery.
Visitation is 11 a.m.- 7 p.m. today, Tuesday, August 19, 2008, with the family in attendance from 5-7 p.m. at Chapel of Hope.
Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
Ms. Watson, 64, died August 15, 2008, at her home in Lovington, New Mexico. She was born May 12, 1944, in Kermit, Texas.
Linda worked as a veterinary tech for over 32 years at Hobbs Animal Clinic. She retired in early 1994 but still continued o help out even after retireshy;nent and did so for many years. She loved animals and was loved by many people.
Survivors include two sisters, Carol Mayfield of Hewitt, Texas, and Roberta Mitchell of Jal, New Mexico; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and a host of special friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mae Watson; two brothers, William L. Watson and Darrell Watson; and two sisters, Marian Chance and Susan Weedman.
