Linda May Finlay Johnson
Born in Coleman, Tx on November 27th, 1953. She entered eternal rest on her terms on November 27th, 2021.
Linda lived her life to the fullest. She raised and rode horses, loved wave runners & boats,
4-wheelers, and camping. But most of all she loved to fly as she was licensed pilot and flew her plane any chance she could. She taught in Hobbs, Eunice, and Lovington and coached High School volleyball, summer league softball, and high school softball for over 20 years. Later in life she worked at Permian Ford, loved her career and retired due to health. She was diagnosed with Lupus at an early age, a fighter of her illness, and loved the Lord. Her family was her pride and joy, loved them all and enjoyed every moment she spent with them. She will be greatly missed by many.
Survived by her husband, “Love of her Life” of 51 years, Enos L. Johnson of the home, four daughters Dawnya Sanders (Jon), Angela McNabb (Kevin), Samantha Johnson, all of Hobbs and Chantelle Opaitz (Darrin) of Lubbock, TX, 16 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 1 brother Jeffrey E Finlay (Debbie), 1 sister Brenda K Webb (Jerry), uncle Billy Jack Wilson, aunt Dorothy Stevens, numerous nephews, nieces, & cousins.
Preceded in death by her parents W.S. (Dub) Finlay and Wanda June Finlay, grandsons Brentton Scott Hall, Brandon Ray Hall, and Brandon Opaitz.
