Leslie Marshall

Memorial services for Leslie Brandon Marshall of Hobbs, N.M., will be Friday; Sept. 21, at 10 a.m. at Bethel Baptist Church located nine miles north of Hobbs on the Denver City Highway:

Brandon, 34, passed from this llie into the presence of His Lord Jesus on Sunday; Sept. 16, at the home of his maternal grandmothshy;er, Shirley Atwood. He was born Dec. 10, 1972, in Hobbs, but lived the majority of his life in Texas. He graduated from Bronte High School and attended Hardin Simmon's University in Abilene, Texas.

He most recently worked and lived in Lubbock, Texas, where he met and was blessed by his spiritual mentor, Breck Wofford.

He always welcomed the challenges of life and lived life to its fullest. He was best known for his kind heart, his generosity and wonderful, warm smile. To know him was to love him.

He brought into this world one very special son, Brandon Reece Marshall of Hobbs, N.M., whom he cherished with all of his heart. Other surshy;vivors include his mother, Tamara, and stepfather, Rusty Payton of Hobbs, N,M.; a very special nephew, Zach Payton; his stepbrothers, Dustin Payton and Drew Payton, both of Hobbs, N.M.; his maternal grandfather, Roger Marshall and wife Cheryl of Marrietta, Okla.; his uncles, Les Marshall and wife Terri of San Antonio, Texas, Roger Marshall and wife Julie of San Antonio, Texas, and Jon Marshall and wife Holly of Colorado Springs, Colo.; his aunts, Tina May and husband Scott of Fort Worth, Texas, and Terri Marshall of San Dimas, Galir.; and numerous cousins and other relatives.

He also leaves behind some very special high school brothers from Bronte, Texas: James Badgett, Jason Cooper, Jaime Flores, Darrell Lucas, Jason Pierce, John Rodgers, John Seals, Ray Seals, Tim Sims, Jim Bob Thomas, Bill Windham and all the girls who loved him.
