Lynna K. Spoonemore Palmer, 74, passed away on November 4, 2014 in Lubbock, TX. She was born May 2, 1940 in Hobbs to William and Pearl Spoonemore.
Lynna graduated from Hobbs High School. She used to ride her horse to the drivein theater and jockey for her father. She was a Master Gardener and a member of the Oil Wives. She was a multi talented artist, writer, piano player and gardener. She had a wonderful flower garden by her house on Fowler for all to enjoy.
Lynna is survived by her son, Aaron Palmer of Hobbs, one daughter, Sheryl Stiles and husband Robert of New Boston, TX, brother Travis Spoonemore of El Paso, TX, sister, Leta Wall of Odessa, TX, four grandchildren Kristi Carrell, Tara Luther, Dshae Duke and John McMillan, eight great grandchildren and a special friend, James Pilley of Hobbs.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Sheila Garrett.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 702 N. Grimes, Hobbs, NM 88240.
A memorial service will be held Friday, November 14 at 2 PM at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home in Hobbs, NM.
