Lee Mac Neithercutt

Funeral services for Lee Mac Neithercutt of Hobbs, N.M. will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 8, 2006, at First Christian Church, 305 W Alston, in Hobbs. Pastor Adam Ormord will officiate. Burial will folshy;low at Prairie Haven Memorial Park.

Mr. Neithercutt, 68, died Sept. 5, 2006, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. He was born Jan. 16, 1938, in Roscoe, Texas. He marshy;ried Jane Hill on Feb. 19, 1960, in Hobbs, N.M.

Lee Mac moved to Hobbs, N.M. from McGregor, Texas in 1946. He was very active in the First Christian Church where he served as a deacon. He served as Past Grand Master of the Masonic Lodge, was a member of the Hobbs Kennel Club and helped organize girls softball in Hobbs. Lee Mac had a very recognizable laugh. His relashy;tionship with his mother-inshy;-law, Nancy Jones, was very special. She knew that Lee Mac would be there for her when she needed him.

Survivors include his wife, Jane Neithercutt of the home; two daughters, Shayne Thatcher and husband Dale of Milan, N.M., and Betsy Ray and husband Bob of Hobbs, N.M.; two brothers, Charles Neithercuttand wife Joy of Houston, Texas, and Delmer Neithercutt and wife Charlene of Midland, Texas; a sister, Judy Shows and husband Bobby of Locust Grove, Ga.; and four grandchildren; Tarence Ray, Cason Ray and Braden Ray, all of Hobbs, N.M. and Ryan Thatcher of Milan, N.M .
