Lawrence Farina Sr.

Funeral services for Lawrence Larry Farina Sr., 76, of Hobbs, is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 27, 2010, at Faith Assembly of God Church followed by burial at Memory Gardens. A visitaion will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. before services begin at the church on Thursday, May 27, 2010. The services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

The services will be conducted by Pastor William Hicks and the Farina brothers.

Mr. Farina died at his residence in Hobbs on May 22, 2010. He was born January 18, 1934 in Racine, Wisconsin.

Mr. Farina was known as a dynamic pastor in both Wisconsin and Kansas City, Missouri.

He is survived by his son Lawrence P. Farina Jr., of Washington, his exwife Helen M. Farina of Racine, Wisconsin, his three brothers Charles J. Farina and wife Barbara of Abilene, Texas, John D. Farina and wife Sharon of Keller, Texas, and Rocco J. Farina and wife Glenda of Waxahachie, Texas, one sister Mary Hicks and husband William of Hobbs. Mr. Farina had numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Assembly of God Church.
