alignjustifyFuneral services for Laura Nan Craig will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, June 26, 2009, at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home with Mike Kennedy, minister, officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.

alignjustifyMrs. Craig, 74, died June 24, 2009, at Lea Regional Medical Center. She was born April 28, 1935, in Lubbock, Texas. She married Eddie Craig on August 18, 1955, in Lubbock, Texas.

alignjustifyNan and her husband, Eddie, were co-owners of Craig Electric. Nan had an antique shop in the building with Craig Electric where she shared her knowledge and love of antiques with many people. Nan enjoyed working in her yard: flowers, trees, gardening and especially her roses. She was an artist. Nan's greatest joy in life was her family. She was a member of Taylor Street Church of Christ.

alignjustifySurvivors include her husband, Eddie Craig of Hobbs; a son, Royce Craig and wife Kathy of Lubbock, Texas; two daughters, Sharon Sheram and husband Dr. Doug Sheram of Corrales, New Mexico, and Sharla Craig of Hobbs; and seven grandchildren.

alignjustifyMrs. Craig was preceded in death by her parents, Garland Sr. and Fannie Taylor, and two brothers.
