Larry Cochran

Larry Cochran, 62, was born July 26, 1952 in Hobbs, New Mexico to Bobby and Maxine Cochran. Larry passed away April 17, 2014 in Artesia, New Mexico.

Mr. Cochran was a 1970 Hobbs High School graduate. He worked as a welder, both in construction, and in the oilfield. He also worked with Cooney Explosives for over 12 years. Larry was a big outdoorsman, enjoying hunting and fishing.

Larry is survived by his brother Tim wife Retha Cochran of Artesia uncle, Danny wife Lorraine Cochran of Tennessee cousin, Bobby Hall of Texas nephew, Matt Cochran of Carlsbad, New Mexico niece, Angela Cochran of Artesia and one grandson.

Mr. Cochran was preceded in death by his parents, and one son, Brandon Marshall.

Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m., Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Chapel of Hope, Hobbs, New Mexico.
