LaJuanah Taylor passed away on Wednesday December 17th. Born in Amarillo, TX, on November 15 to Lucy Jane and Earl William Ince, LaJuanah was the fourth of ten children. She was raised in Lubbock and graduated from Lubbock High School. She married the love of her life, Elton Ray Jody Taylor on July 14, 1945 in Gulfport, Miss. LaJuanah and Jody moved to Hobbs from Lubbock on January 1, 1957. Together they raised their three children and lived 64 years of love and happiness together.

LaJuanah was active in the Hobbs community for many years. She served on the Hobbs Better Garden Club and the American Needle Point Guild. She was also an active member of the Ladies Golf Association and enjoyed playing bridge.

She was an active member of Taylor Street Church of Christ devoting much of her time to Ladies Bible Class and teaching childrens bible classes. She and Jody had vacation homes in Ruidoso, Kingsland and Marble Falls and enjoyed much time in the Texas Hill County allowing them to be closer to her beloved sisters, brothers and family.

LaJuanah adored her family and friends. With a witty sense of humor and true elegant style, she touched the hearts of all who knew her. Sitting at the dining room table visiting and reminiscing with friends and family was the one of the highlights of her life. She was a gracious hostess and will be loved and missed by everyone who knew her.

Survivors include her children, Rusty Taylor and wife Judy, Rodney Taylor and Ginger Taylor of Hobbs, NM. Grandsons Ross Taylor of Midland, TX, Russell Taylor and wife Saiyette of Coyanosa, TX and Steve Sims of Hobbs. Granddaughters include Juli Forbes and husband Ricky of Crowley, TX, Loren Hamrick and husband Stephen of Grapevine, TX and Kim Bell of Watauga, TX. Great grandchildren Avery and Drew Bell of Watauga, TX, Hunter and Harrison Sims of Brownwood, TX, Olivia and Claire Hamrick of Grapevine, TX, Colten and Jody Taylor of Coyanosa, TX, Kori and Layton Stephen of Coyanosa, TX, Joseph, Phoenix and Haylee Forbes of Crowley, TX.

Her sisters, Betty Clawson of Marble Falls, TX, Judie Ince of Kingsland, TX. Her brothers Gerald Ince and wife Sharon of Lubbock TX and Carl Ince of Marble Falls TX. Any many beloved family and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents, her loving husband Jody Taylor twin sons, Ronald and Raymond Taylor, brothers, Earl Ince Jr., David Ince, Jerry Ince and sisters Justin Kerr and Jewell Smith.
