Kori Jo Thompson passed away on November 8, 2020. She was born December 22, 1989 to Barbara and Andrew Larrick at Camp Pendleton, CA. She married her best friend, Allen Thompson, in June 2010.
She loved to always be learning. She could not absorb enough when in grade school and middle school. She eventually asked to be homeschooled so she would no longer be held back by the “system”. When she was in eleventh grade, she announced she was done with high school and left for college. So, this non-high school graduate went on to get her bachelor’s and master’s degrees. She decided to teach because she wanted to help shape youth with her thirst for knowledge.
Her love for life was infectious and you could not help but feel a zest for it when in her presence. She always had a smile for you and always went out of her way to make people feel welcomed.
Kori is survived by her husband, Allen, her daughter Brooklynn, 9, daughter Kinsley, 4, daughter Marsalis, 2, her mother and father, Barbara & Andrew Larrick, her sister Kiley and husband CJ Olson, nephew Kayden, niece Remi, mother and father-in-law Rita and Daniel Ramirez, brothers-in-law John and Edward, nephews Patrick and Michael, sister-in-law Ties Thompson, nephew Tiernan, father-in-law Randall Thompson. She touched each of us deeply and we all loved her so very much.
