Kim Herd

A graveside memorial service for Kim Herd, 35, is scheduled for 3:00 pm., Thursday, October 17, 2013, at Prairie Haven Cemetery in Hobbs NM.
Dearest Kim left this world too soon on Monday, Oct. 7 in San Antonio.
She was born Dec. 3 1977 in Hobbs to George and Peggy Herd. She attended Hobbs High School and was active in the theatre department, graduating in 1996. She attended New Mexico Junior college and graduated from Texas Tech University.
Kim resided in Austin, Texas and worked in the dental industry. But her true love was her pursuit of theatre through acting and script writing.
She built a wealth of wonderful and supportive friendships throughout her life. She was loved by so many and her passing has been devastating to us all.
Kim is preceded in death by her father, George Patton Herd.
She is survived by her mother, Peggy, of Hobbs two sisters, Trish Dodson and husband, J.P., of Odessa Carrie Spriggs, and husband, Mark, a niece and nephew, Maggie Jean Spriggs, and Brady James Patton Spriggs, all of Melbourne, Australia and an uncle, Larry Herd of Phoenix.
