Kenneth Mapp, 79, beloved Father, Grandfather, Brother, and friend was called to his eternal resting place on October 4, 2020. He entered this world on February 1, 1941 in Monument, NM, born to Tom and Gladys Mapp. He is survived by his spouse Janice Mapp, Lovingly known to Kenneth as Blondie; Son Lance and wife Malinda, daughter Tammy, and Son Kendall and wife Crystal. Grandchildren Michael, Chris, Sabra, Samantha, Kennadee and Draven. He is also survived by siblings Kathlene Phillips, Joyce Bullock, Glenda Mapp, Peggy Chanley, Doyle Mapp, and Debbie Harris. He is proceeded in death by Tommy Mapp, Jake Mapp, Dorothy Kimery, and Darlene Pearson.
Kenneth lived for four things: family, work, hunting and fishing. He retired from Warren Petroleum after 36 years of dedicated service. Retirement didn't mean retired in Kenneth's eyes. He promptly went right back to work for Flint and later became a sub-contractor with his son, Kendall for K-C Welding. He spent the last 25 years fishing and spending precious time with family at his lake house on Hubbard Creek Lake, or sitting in a hunting blind with his son and grandson. He loved shooting the bull with his family and friends. He was also one of the most quick-witted humans you would ever have the privilege of meeting.
Kenneth loved the Lord, Blondie, his children, grandchildren and Westerns. His proudest accomplishment was being Dad and Grandpa. He will be forever missed.
