Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Prairie Haven Cemetery, with Pastor Elio Barrios presiding, for Kenneth Pancho Knotts, 73 of Hobbs. Visitation will be Tuesday, noon 7 p.m. at Chapel of Hope. Pancho died May 20, 2012, in Lovington. He was born April 21, 1939, in Hobbs to Anthony and Juanita Knotts.
Pancho lived life to the fullest and he was a loving father, brother and friend. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.
Surviving him are two sons, John Knotts of Hobbs and Benton Clendenen of Midland, TX three daughters, Deneice Knotts of Peteluma, CA, B.J. Sorensen, and husband Paul, of Southlake, TX, and Jayme Mae Lumbrera of Duncanville, TX a brother, Anthony G. Knotts of Albuquerque, NM three sisters, Vivian Kelley of TX, Rheta Johnson of Hobbs, and Billie Wynne of OK five and a half grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pancho was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Bonnie Ponder.
