Kayleigh Ann Monk was born on October 7, 1990 in Hobbs, New Mexico. She left this world to rest in paradise on March 26, 2017, in Lubbock, Texas.
A loving mother to her son, Aiden Christopher Valerio, whom she adored and worked so hard to make sure all his wishes were fulfilled. She was employed with Cattle Baron in Lubbock, Texas while attending South Plains College in Levelland, Texas to pursue her Nursing degree.
She is survived by are her parents James and Kim Tuttle and Thomas Monk, Jr.; one sister, Elise Cortez. Her grandmother, Jeannie Rash Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Her beautiful soul touched many lives of her friends throughout her childhood and early adulthood.
She is preceded in death by her grandfather, Jimmy Rash and grandfather, Thomas M. Monk Sr.
A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at 10:00 am, on Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Chapel of Hope, in Hobbs, New Mexico. Kayleigh will rest in Queens, New York, where Aiden will also reside.
The family and close friends of Kayleigh Monk would like to give special thanks to all who contributed to her services and medical bills. Thank you to all for the prayers, kind thoughts and support during this difficult time. We will miss her!
