Kathi Cobb

Kathi Sue Cobb, age 63, passed away on Sunday October 29, 2023 in Hobbs NM after developing complications from surgery.  Kathi was born on August 22, 1960, in Greensboro, NC and the daughter of John and Dorothy Cobb.   Family moved to Hobbs, NM around 1965 where Kathi graduated from Hobbs High School in 1978 and received her bachelors degree at the College of the Southwest. 

Kathi was preceded in death by her brother James Lee Cobb, father John Cobb, mother Dorothy Cobb, sister Dojoni Ellis, nephew Cody Ellis and niece Charlcia Nance.  Kathi is survived by her sister Pat Dauphinais, nephew Neil Dauphinais and family, Justin Nance and family, and several cousins. 

Kathi was a big lover of animals.  She loved her horses, dogs and cats.  Her proudest moment was when her horse Maynard was born.  Kathi had a big heart, a good heart for her family and friends.  Though she had many struggles in her life, she always made time.  Kathi is now at peace and resting in heaven with family.  She will always be missed and will always have a place in our hearts.
