Katherine Barker

Katherine Stephens Barker of Hobbs, NM died Monday, Sept. 11, 2006 after a short battle with cancer. Mrs. Barker was born Katherine Louise Clotee Jenkins in Mineral Wells, Texas on May 16, 1929. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School in 1947 and attended Southwestern Assembly of God University in Waco, Texas.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, Sept. 16, 2006 at 10:00 AM at the Fellowship of Believers Church on 601 E. Snyder Hobbs, NM. Ken Collins and Michael Gleason will be officiating

Katherine is survived by her brother Jimmie Jenkins of Breckenridge, Texas; two sons, Barry Stephens Sr. of Hobbs and Michael Stephens of San Antonio, Texas; six grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.

Family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be given to Eagle Heights Church of God, PO Box 1286, Hobbs, or to the College of the Southwest, 6610 Lovington Hwy, Hobbs.
