Justin Sterling

A memorial service for Justin Dion Sterling, 34, of Hobbs, will be 3:00 p.m. Monday, October 19, 2011, at Chapel of Hope officiated by Pastor Elio Barrios. Justin died December 10, 2011, in Los Lunas, NM. He was born June 22, 1977, in Seminole, TX, to John and Nita Sterling. He was a member of Faith Chapel Free Will Baptist.

Justin attended school in the Hobbs School system. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved to cook. Justin worked in construction doing commercial and residential building.

Justin is survived by a daughter, Rikke Sterling of Sonora, TX a son, William Sterling of Sonora ,TX father, John R. Sterling of Amarillo, TX sisters, Nannette L. Morsey, and husband George, of Hobbs, Novella L. Smith, and husband Ricky, of Hobbs, Juanita Boggs, and husband Troy, of Roswell, NM, Brandye Bates, and husband John, of Ashland, MO brother, John R. Sterling II of Hobbs stepbrother, Billy Lippman of Odessa, TX stepsister, Carla Lippman of Sonora, TX stepgrandmother, Pauline Taylor Walcoff of Sonora, TX and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother, Nita A. Sterling and stepfather, Paul Lippman.
