Justin Bell

Funeral services for Justin Lee Bell, 28, of Hobbs, NM, will be held Saturday, May 11, 2013, 2:00 p.m. at St. John Baptist Church with Reverend Choice officiating. Burial will follow at Prairie Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Justin was born October 21, 1984, in Hobbs, NM. He died May 4, 2013, in Lubbock, TX. Visitation will take place Friday, May 10, 2013, from 8 a.m. 8 p.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.

Justin graduated from Hobbs High School in 2003. He played on the Hobbs High Basketball Team where he successfully assisted the Eagles in a 4 peat Championship game. He enjoyed fishing, track, baseball and won first place in soccer. Justin enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a junior usher at Little Zion Missonary Baptist of Compton, CA.

Preceding him in death was his grandmother, Ethel Jean Williams Hamilton, uncle Big Mike Williams, his greatgrandmother, Emma Williams and maternal grandmother, Mae Baker and paternal grandfather, Leroy Dorsey all of Compton, CA.

Justin is survived his mother, Pearl Bell, of Hobbs, NM two daughters, Aliyah Lee and Anelyse McMahan both of Seminole, TX a brother, Matthew Bell, of Hobbs, NM four uncles, Willie Ross, of Colorado Springs, CO, Arnett Williams, of Hobbs, NM, Ricky Jackson of Whiteface, TX, and Morice Jackson Jr., of Amarillo, TX five aunts, Wanda Bell, of Hobbs, NM, Pamela Williams of Hobbs, NM, Emma Coleman, of Los Angeles, CA, Freda Ross of Los Angeles, CA, and Exer Jackson, of Cypress, CA plus numerous cousins and friends.

Justin was a joy and a blessing to all who knew him. Family requests memorial contributions be made to St. Judes Children Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
