Mrs. DeLeon, 76, died Wednesday, November 26, in Hobbs. She was born August 17, 1932, in Bishop, Texas. She mashy;rried Guadshy;alupe Deshy;Leon on January 7, 1951, in Bisshy;hop.
Julia was very devoted to her church. She served in many capacities such as: Legion of Mary, Columbus Lady, Alter Society, Eucharistic Minister, Guadalupana, Crusillista, Commentator, Family Fair Volunteer and Marriage Counselor. She had numerous godchildren, always shared the gospel, was a very Christian woman who loved children, and helped those in need. Julia contributed finanshy;cially to many Christian organizations.
She was a member of St.Helena Catholic Church.
Survivors include her husshy;band, Guadalupe DeLeon of Hobbs; four sons, Lupe DeLeon Jr. and wife Rachel of Midland, Texas; Roy DeLeon and wife Alice of Hobbs, Gilbert DeLeon and wife Pam of Bayou Vista, Texas, and Victor DeLeon and wife Rita of Hobbs; one daughter, Rosalinda Tarin and husband Louis of Hobbs; numerous nieces and nephews; 16 grandshy;children and 16 great-grandshy;children.
Julia was preceded in death by her father, Eulilio Delgado; son, Joseph DeLeon; and sisshy;ter, Teresa Sandoval.
