Judy Musslewhite left this world behind and entered eternal peace and rest on Friday, August 3, 2007. Judy was born March 6, 1950; she was 57 years old. Judy lived most of her life in Hobbs, NM where she was a member of Taylor Memorial Baptist Church. Judy had a successful career at Unichem, Int. and made lasting friendships which were treasured to the last day. After leaving Unichem, Judy served as executive secretary for First United Methodist Church for a number of years before assuming ownership of the Hobbs Welcome Service. In 2003, she moved to Farmington, NM where she assumed ownership of Tri-City Welcome Service. She has many friends in Farmington and will be greatly missed.
Family departed before Judy are her father, O.R. Musslewhite; her son, Jeffrey Dennis Woods and her mother Effie Winn.

Judy was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer that rapidly spread to her liver. However, her fight was brief and the last weeks of her life were some of her most memorable. Judy and her daughter made a trip to Maui, Hawaii the second week of July. While there, Judy enjoyed a luau, attended a live musical, viewed the ocean through an underwater submarine, and enjoyed walking on the beach, watching the sunset and shopping for souvenirs for friends and family. Her prayer and the prayers of many were answered when God took her quickly and without suffering.
Judy loved the Serenity prayer: God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can and the wisdom to know the difference. Her life and faith can be measured by her belief in God and practice of this prayer.
