alignjustifyMrs. DeMoss, 81, died June 8, 2009, at Nor-Lea Hospital in Lovington, New Mexico. She was born August 22, 1927, in Matador, Texas. She married James DeMoss November 16, 1949, in Lovington. He died February 4, 1985. Judy was a very active and happy woman. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and dancing. She had many friends and loved ones and was surrounded with a multitude of children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She spent much of her life caring for others and made many friends this way. She was an avid hard worker and spent time in a career as an aircraft mechanic. Judy is dearly loved and will be missed greatly.
alignjustifySurvivors include a sister, Martha Lorene Mullins of Tatum, New Mexico; her oldest son, Eddie DeMoss and wife JoAnn of Walsburg, Utah; a daughter, Judie Allen and husband Elvin of Hobbs; a son, James DeMoss, Jr. of Abilene, Texas; her grandchildren, Julie and David Pyron of Tyrone, New Mexico, Kelli Allen of Hobbs, Chet and Debbie DeMoss of Socorro, New Mexico, Sonnie and Patrick Homer of Lovington, Daryl DeMoss of Walsburg, Utah, Dana Pappas of Heber, Utah; her great-grandchildren, Derrek Cipares of Silver City, New Mexico, Jennifer Cipares of Silver City, New Mexico, Tyrel DeMoss of Alamogordo, New Mexico, Jaycie Homer of Lovington, Ethan DeMoss of Alamogordo, N.M. Lexi Allen of Hobbs, N.M., Morgan Homer of Lovington, N.M., Leighton DeMoss of Alambgordo, N.M., Brandi Pyron of Tyrone, N.M., Andrew Homer of Lovington, N.M., and Madison Homer of Lovington, N.M.; and great-great-grandchildren, Lillith Cipares of Silver City, N.M., Diego Cipares of Silver City, N.M., and Payton Hernandez of Lovington.
