Juanita Hernandez

Funeral services for Juanita Hernandez, 66, of Hobbs, will be Tuesday, April 12, 2011, Chapel of Hope at 3:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Joe Hernandez. Interment will be after services at Memory Gardens. Juanita died April 10, 2011, at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. She was born March 8, 1945, in Midland, TX. She married Joe Hernandez July 20, 1958, in Midland, TX. She was a member of Eternal Life Assembly of God.

Juanita was a very loving person and cared for all. She was selfless and was giving to everyone. Juanita was a good mentor, faithful to God, compassionate and wise.

She is survived by her husband, Joe Hernandez, Sr., of Hobbs two sons, Joe Hernandez, Jr., and wife Tereza of Tuscon, AZ, and Jerry TBone Hernandez and wife Cecilia of Hobbs three daughters, Sandra Hernandez of Hobbs, Elizabeth Momo Rodriquez and husband Pastor Steve, of Hobbs, Debbie French and husband Chris Uncle Buddy of Hobbs and brother, Frankie Joe Vine and wife Tracy of Odessa, TX, two sisters, Thelma Navarro and husband Edwardo of Wichita Falls, TX, and Patricia Evans and husband Archie of Hobbs sixteen grandchildren 22 greatgrandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Juanita was preceded in death by her mother, Petronila Vine, and a grandson, Joshua Green.
