Juan Trevino

Funeral services for Juan Galindo Trevino, 95, of Hobbs, NM, will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013, 10:00 a.m. at Hobbs First Assembly with Pastor Jonathan Cabrera officiating. Burial will follow at the Prairie Haven Cemetery. Juan was born June 24, 1917 in Pecos, TX, to Refujio and Cipriana Trevino. He died June 15, 2013, in Hobbs, NM. Visitation for Mr. Trevino will be Tuesday, June 18, 2013, from 8:00 a.m. 7:00 p.m. at Chapel of Hope Funeral Home along with a Prayer service starting at 6:00 p.m.

Juan married Epifania in 1945, in Carlsbad, NM. He enjoyed sports, boxing, baseball, his favorite team being the Dodgers, shopping for nice clothing, yard work, his church and most of all he loved his family. He worked in the oil patch with C.P. Construction and B M Roustabout Company.

He is survived by a son, Henry Trevino and his wife, Tina, of Lovington, NM two daughters, Evangelina Pando and husband, Carlos, of Hobbs, NM and Corina Hernandez and husband, Claude, of Hobbs, NM eleven grandchildren twentyeight grandchildren, eleven greatgrandchildren and ten greatgreatgrandchildren.

He is preceded in death by, Epifania Trevino a son, Abel Trevino two brothers and two sisters.

Services are under the direction of Chapel of Hope Funeral Home.
