Joyce Petty

Graveside services for Joyce Marie Petty of Monument, N.M., will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Prairie Haven Memorial Park with Pastor Bob Hamilton officiating.

Mrs. Petty, 62, died March 8, 2008, at her home in Monument, N.M. She was born April 20, 1945, in Nashville, Tenn. She married John Petty on May 5, 1998, in Monshy;ument, N.M.

Joyce had been employed by Gibb's Junction, Wilma's Coffee Barn and Bowlarama Lanes. Joyce enjoyed fishing, camping and cooking.

She was a member of First Baptist Church in Monument, N.M.

Survivors include her husshy;band, John Petty of Monument, N.M.; a son, Ryan Rule of Granbury, Texas; an aunt, Ruby Tipton of Hobbs, N.M.; a granddaughter, Rhianna Rule of Hobbs, N.M.; two special friends, Pat Welch of DeLeon; Texas, and Dodie Gibbs of Hobbs, N.M.
Joyce was preceded in death by her first husband, Phillip Rule.
