Josie Tidwell

Josie Tidwell, 88, died June 5, 2007 at Lea Regional Hospital in Hobbs, New Mexico. She was born June 5, 1919 in Waxahachie, Texas.

Josie taught school in Seminole, TX, Eunice, NM and retired in Alamogordo, NM. She was an accomplished artist, having some of her work in different galleries. She enjoyed sculpting, collecting Indian artifacts and traveling the world to buy antiques. She was a camp counselor at Enlow Baptist Camp for many years. Josie had numerous comical life stories that she enjoyed sharing. Josie enjoyed people and loved to laugh.

Josie is the sister of J.B. Tidwell of Hobbs, New Mexico.
