Joshua (JD) Ragland received his heavenly call to come home on August 5, 2021.
We know his Momma, Uncle Dan and other relatives that were called home before him ran to greet him in the most joyous reunion imaginable. We are certain he raised his arms in the air and proclaimed, “I made it!” Although his absence is heartbreaking for his remaining family and friends, we believe he is whole, healed and hurts no more. We will see him again someday when we are called home.
Joshua had a beautiful heart and a sense of humor that could pull you right up out of any low time. Even when he was weak and sick himself.
He was unbelievably talented, and he excelled at everything he attempted. Playing guitar, art, riding dirt bikes and cooking to name a few.
Joshua’s greatest mark on this world however, is his precious son Brody Wolfe Ragland.
Brody has been blessed with many of his Daddy’s traits, humor and silliness and excels at his interests as well. Josh spoke many times of how important it was for Brody to know he thought of him every day and loved him with all of his heart and soul if he was ever to pass. He also spoke of wanting happy memories and funny stories to be remembered and shared. “No boo hooing!”
