Josefina Valles

Josefina "Josey" Valles, 44 of Hobbs, New Mexico was called to meet her maker on November 29, 2018 alongside with her loving mother, Laura Marin.

Josey was preceded in death by her loving husband, Ramon Valles, in December 2014 and her mother-in-love, Irma Valles. Together Josey and Ramon created their most precious possessions, their two beautiful daughters, Amaris Valles and Isabella Valles.

Josey and Ramon were a match made in heaven. Their loved ones find comfort knowing the two are together in heaven just as her heart desired for four years.

Josey was a 1992 Hobbs High School graduate. She obtained her Bachelor's Degree from University of the Permian Basin, pursuing her Masters and growth in the legal field. Josey was a Paralegal and Office Manager for eight years. Prior to that, Josey served as an Adult Probation Officer. Her passions included, drawing, painting, hosting gatherings and attending her parent's church Cristo La Puerta. Throughout the course of her life, Josey left a mark in the many people she met, creating lifetime friendships. She was loved dearly by all those touched by her genuine and loyal personality.

To most, Josey was known as "the calm to the storm" leaving her legacy for being the strongest, the smartest, and toughest. She had a special kind of love and closeness, all unique with each of her siblings. She is survived by her father, Pastor Jesus Marin, her siblings, Laura Castillo, Mireya Marin, Wendy Mendoza, Jesse Marin, Rito Marin and Crystal Marin and many nieces and nephews whom she loved unconditionally.
