Jonathon Paul Thornton was born on June 6th 1982. He worked a variety of jobs that demonstrated his intellectual drive to constantly learn and grow. Jonathon began work through a temp agency at the age of 16 and excelled as a Lab Tech for Halliburton. He was also a volunteer Firefighter for Monument for many years. At the age of 17 Jonathon made sure his dad stayed safe on the highway by doing mechanic work on his 18 wheeler. With freelance and self-taught tech skill, Jonathon worked on computers, designed a data base for Warrior and worked for DCP. Jonathon could work on cars, build a house or help dress his daughter's dolls and each task was completed with kindness, precision and integrity.
Jonathon loved to cook and decorate cakes for family and friends. He has been an integral part of Snochinno's with expansion plans, menu design and menu item recipes that he proudly served to his dedicated customers.
Jonathon married Shuree Hill on April 13, 2010. His defining moment was the birth of his daughter, Kaileigh Renae Thornton, his pride and joy. The love of fatherhood shone through his eyes and would melt your heart.
Jonathon was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jimmy Griffin, and grandparents, Olen and Elizabeth Thornton, as well as numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. He is survived by his wife, Shuree, daughter, Kaileigh, parents, Paul and Sheila Thornton, two brothers, Wayne Thornton, Michael Thornton and Kerri Thornton.
Jonathon is loved and cherished by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. May he boldly go where no one has gone before.
