Hobbs

Jonathan Flores, 27, beloved son, brother, uncle and friend, was called to his eternal resting place on August 3, 2020. He entered this world on May 18, 1993, in Del Rio, TX, born to Jose and Mariaelena Flores. As a man of few words but great actions, he left a tremendous impact on those who were fortunate to know him. He left memories filled with happiness, laughter, love, compassion, selflessness and protection. Although he was young, the measure of his character became one his family and friends admired and strived to accomplish.

Jonathan communicated through gestures, whether a head tilt, a finger point with a smile, a hug or a fistbump. When he did talk, it was never about himself but about others, as listening was one of his greatest qualities. He loved his family, always going out of his way to help, to provide protection, to spend time with them, and he became a favorite person for his niece and nephew.

He is survived by his parents, Jose and Mariaelena Flores, his brother, Chris, sister-in-law, Laura, his nephew, Christian, niece, Victoria, fraternal grandfather, Eustaquio Flores, and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his fraternal grandmother, Elisa Flores Reyes, and maternal grandparents, Francisco and Leonor Salazar.
