Jolene (Davis) Nixon 81, of Hobbs passed away September 23, 2021.

Jolene was born July 19, 1940, in Iraan, Pecos County, Texas, to Wright and Rosa Belle (Shroyer) Davis.  She graduated from High School in Junction, Texas in June of 1958 and then married Ronald I. Nixon at the First Baptist Church in London, Texas on August 9, 1958.  Jolene and Ronald moved to San Angelo in 1960 where they lived and raised their three sons until moving to Hobbs, in June of 1978.

In 1981, Jolene along with Ronald started Southwestern Trailer Equipment Co., Inc. which is being ran by her 3 sons.  The business has been going strong for the past 40 years.

Jolene is survived by sons Rex E. and wife Sherri (Trammel), Joel, and Aron and wife Allison (Marker), three granddaughters Elizabeth, Rebekah, and Hailey and two great-grandchildren Jason and Serenity.

Jolene was preceded in death by her husband Ronald I. Nixon and her parents.
