Johnny “Camaron” Cantu entered heavens gates June 19th, 2023. Camaron was born August 2nd, 1955 in Ontario, Oregon to Ernestina and Manuel Cantu. He married the love of his life Terry Cantu on June 14th, 1974, where they began their journey in life together. Cameron was a beloved husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother, and friend. He had a heart of gold and he loved to help others and make his family happy. His hobbies were making walking canes and riding his scooter. He loved ALL his children and never said no. He was a man of strong faith and never hesitated to pray for someone. He was a member of New Life Church and enjoyed attending services and seeing his church friends. He absolutely loved to barbeque and make burritos; he was a great cook. Although, Camaron left us all too soon, we know he is finally at rest and happy with his Love Terry. He will be greatly loved and missed by all who got to know him. Camaron is survived by his parents Manuel and Ernestina Cantu; by his 5 sisters, Sylvia and husband Fabian Porras, Rosa and husband Daniel Loera, Natalie Cantu, Minerva and husband Juan Manuel Guajardo, Lori and husband Dago Quiroz and 3 brothers Richard Lopez, Rene Cantu and wife Sylvia, and Robert Cantu. He is also survived by his son’s Daniel “Cabezon” Cantu, Steven “Hershey” Cantu, and his daughter Eileen Cantu; his grandchildren Miriah Soliz and husband Julius, Juan Soliz and wife Brenda, Christian Soliz, great grandchildren Lexy Heredia, Chapo Soliz, Lito Soliz, and “Little Red” Maciel.
He was preceded in death by his Love Terry Cantu, by his daughter Ana Alicia Cantu and baby brother. His paternal grandparents Manuel and Petra Cantu and maternal grandparents Ernesto and Irene Lopez.
