Mr. Harrison, 56, died June 1, 2007, in Lubbock, Texas. He was born April 30, 1951, in Shattuck, Okla. He married Sharon A. Harrison on Aug. 4, 1972, in Stillwater, Okla.
Mr. Harrison attended Oklahoma State University where he was a member of the Pi Kappa Phi Fraternity. He lived in Roswell from 1982shy; to 1997. He served on the NM Soccer Association Board of Directors, Parks and Recreation Commission. for Roswell, N.M., and ran for the House of Representatives. John and his family moved to Hobbs in 1997. John served on the Board of Directors for the Boys and Girls Club, serving as Vice President and Presishy;dent. He served on the Technology Board at NMJC in automotive technology Asset Program. He was a service manager for Permian Ford for 10 years.
Survivors include his mothshy;er, Alice Harrison of Edmond, Okla.; his wife, Sharon Harrison of the home; two sons, Brett Harrison and wife Melissa of Hobbs, N.M., and Robert Harrison and wife Kelly of Hobbs, N.M.; a brothshy;er, David Harrison of Liberal, Kan.; two sisters, Linda Latta of Spearman, Texas, and Tracy Hall of Edmond, Okla.; and a granddaughter, Hallie Harrison of Hobbs, N.M.
John was preceded in death by his father, Jack Marshall Harrison.
